Director of Technology

I'm the Director of Technology at Islands of Brilliance, where I harness creative technologies to empower autistic individuals to visually share their stories. My work revolves around developing Digital Academy programs for the 14+ community, leading a team of Creative Technologists, and supporting community upskilling efforts. I'm also proud to be an Adobe Innovator, collaborating with the Adobe for Education team. In essence, I'm on a mission to make the education revolution irresistible.

Willey earned a Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.

Willey lives and works in Milwaukee, WI.

One more thing...
I am lucky, I have a wonderful wife, family, and close circle of friends that give meaning and value to my life. Husband, Friend, Creative, Educator, Gardener, Foodie, and Technophile. 1/2 Hippie & 1/2 Geek. I am here, as in on this planet, to 'help.' Specifically, I help others by helping them share their stories visually. My main question is: "How do we create spaces where we can see each other for our potential?"
