Photographer/videographer Ismael Martinez first picked up a camera in 2013 after learning he was going to be a father for the first time. What began as a way to document his new stage in life, quickly turned into a new method to make extra money. As his company (Life Through Lens) grew, so did his passion to work with local businesses. From this, spawned a web-based video series called “Fork It”. Reaching the entire Rio Grande Valley, “Fork It” focuses on showcasing local food and restaurant owners, telling stories behind every great dish.
