Teacher Leader | Virtual Math Educator | ISTE Certified Educator | EdTech & AI Integration Advocate | Co-Host of AI Is Not Just Another Thing Podcast

I am a teacher leader, virtual math educator, and edtech advocate with more than 17 years of experience supporting students, families, and educators. I am an ISTE Certified Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, Microsoft Certified Educator, and Canva Education Trainer. I am passionate about helping teachers use technology in meaningful, practical, and student-centered ways.

As a virtual math educator, I focus on building student confidence, encouraging productive struggle, and helping learners see math as something they can access, discuss, and grow through. My work centers on using AI and educational technology as thought partners, not shortcuts, to support deeper learning, reflection, creativity, and equitable access.

I am also the co-host of the podcast AI Is Not Just Another Thing, where Larissa Black and I explore how educators can navigate AI with curiosity, clarity, and purpose. Through my leadership, presentations, and professional learning work, I am committed to empowering teachers to try new tools, ask thoughtful questions, and create learning experiences that help students think, grow, and thrive.
