Cari is a highly skilled and experienced educator in the Central Texas area. She currently serves as an Educational Technology Specialist. She previously worked as a Gifted and Talented teacher and Makerspace Captain. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Cari holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is National Board Certified in Gifted and Talented education.

Cari has a passion for pushing the boundaries of traditional teaching methods and encourages others to do the same. She enjoys presenting in unconventional ways, aiming to motivate teachers to try new approaches in their own classrooms. She also enjoys teaching others how to fail forward and problem-solve. Cari firmly believes in an engaging curriculum that integrates multiple subject areas into a single lesson. She is particularly enthusiastic about Project-Based Learning, using Google tools, and implementing Challenge-Based Learning.
