Educator

I am a mathematics educator, content creator, and math education researcher. I am also a career-changer, with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. I worked in the industry for five years to gain insight into how mathematics is used in a variety of applications and professions, all with the intention of eventually returning to academia and applying this work experience to my own teaching. I wanted to be able to answer, first hand, students who ask, “Why do I need to know this?”
