Dan serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board for the Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation and has more than 25 years of engineering experience in the software, electrical, and mechanical fields. The REC Foundation's mission is to provide educators with competition, education, and workforce readiness programs to increase student engagement in science, technology, engineering, math, and computer science.

While being on the front lines of working with over 1M students through the years with the VEX Robotics programs, Dan helps young learners from around the world gain critical skills and hands-on learning to ignite curiosity and passion for innovation.
