#VIA20 has been an amazing experience which has allowed me to learn how to design a solution for a problem that is near and dear to me.
I work in a district with many Spanish speaking parents that want to help their children succeed, but they lack the digital literacy skills and Spanish resources. I have come up with the Empower Power App to help our Spanish speaking parents.
Empower Parent App:
1. Offers Spanish resources that can be understood by parents.
2. Resources can be accessed anywhere and at anytime.
3. It motivates learning by offering certificates for learning.
The overall goal is to help parents build the digital literacy skills they need to help them become an integral part of their child’s education.
