An educator for the last 25 years, Dr. Jacie Maslyk, has served as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, elementary principal, and assistant superintendent. She currently serves as an instructional coach and educational consultant, supporting schools through professional learning and job-embedded coaching. She provides workshops (on-site and virtual), model lessons, and curriculum support to school districts and educational organizations across the country. Maslyk is a member of a variety of educational organizations including The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), The International Literacy Association (ILA), and The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). She is also a long-time member of the Pennsylvania Principals Association and was awarded the Frank S. Manchester Award for Excellence in Journalism in 2015 by the organization. She was also a National Distinguished Principal (NDP) finalist in Pennsylvania in 2013 and 2014. Jacie was a featured speaker for FETC and ISTE, as well as a keynote speaker for the Northwest District Educators Conference and the Virginia Children’s Engineering Council.
